Walked in for lunch on a Saturday. Nice place, the owner comes around, sits next to me, told the story how he started and how they are now. Not a place for quick bites but definitely a place for a quality relaxed meal and chat. Good options for vegetarians Location - 8/10 Ambience - 9/10 Food - 9/10 Staff - 10/10 Return - Yes Recommend - yes

I went with my family today for first time. Excellent food, special and tasty dishes. Kind staff and service.The owner is very accommodating and welcoming.He is full of passion and love for his job and his creative menu. Service and food was excellent overall. Would recommend to any local who hasn’t yet visited or any tourists who plan to eat in Tilburg.

We finally went to De Burgerij after biking past many times and seeing how cute it is. It did NOT disappoint! All of the food was exceptionally well done and expertly put together. We loved the charcuterie/cheese platter, which had something for everyone. Our main dishes were tender and delicious. And the dessert - oh my goodness! So freaking delicious. I pray you get the chance to taste the coconut mascarpone. Wine pairing recommendations from the staff were well thought-out, you can tell they take pride in providing you with detailed information about selections and how it will pair with your food. Overall, we will definitely be back to De Burgerij in the future and highly recommend you visit too!

Let’s talk about the food — absolutely phenomenal. Each dish is meticulously prepared with clear attention to detail, balance, and flavor. You can truly taste the thought and love behind every bite. The ingredients are fresh and vibrant, and each plate arrives at your table not only delicious but beautifully presented. The colors, the textures, the plating — everything shows a chef’s hand that is both skilled and artistic. What makes this place even more special is that it doesn’t stop at just good food. The team here has created an experience. The staff radiates friendliness and professionalism, always attentive without being intrusive. Their genuine warmth makes every visit feel like a little celebration, even if you just stopped by for a drink. Such a gem of a place with such a nice vibe, delicious sandwiches and great service. We got the platter with San Sebastián, the fireman & comte sandwiches, sooo good and highly recommend stopping by.

Magnifique!!! Best dinner of our whole trip! So unique and tasty! Waiter was super friendly and warmly answered all our questions. Definitely don’t miss out. House red wine, dessert plate, and Schrobbler aperitif highly recommended.
